MCP

An agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol connects to https://mcp.markdownbrain.ai/mcp. Its tools are the operations in this reference, by the same names and with the same arguments: the tool apply_edits is the operation apply_edits, and its page documents both.

Two things differ from HTTP.

• The credential. An MCP client connects as one agent, either through the consent screen a client opens when you add the server or with that agent's connection key. A member key is not accepted here.
• The answer. A tool's result is the operation's JSON as text, and a refusal is a result marked as an error carrying the same message HTTP sends.
